#3 Xavi López – guitarra elèctrica

El Xavi López era un altre dels components de EGO amb qui vaig compartir tants moments irrepetibles. A la final espanyola del concurs Emergenza va guanyar premis com a millor guitarrista de la nit. Autodidacta i esquerrà, després d’ Ego va formar part de Zermenyo (encara continuen), va fer concerts per diferents deejays (dj Konze, dj Plastic…), una formació de swing «Hot Swingers Quintet» i un projecte de funky-fussió «Acid-Brain». Però l’altre gran projecte musical del Xavi va ser Moonday, formació de llarga durada, compartida amb Eric Rovira a la bateria, que finalment es va disoldre l’any 2011. El Xavi també va ser l’encarregat de programar i conduïr les mítiques jam sessions del Casino del Prat del Llobregat durant quatre temporades 2010-2012. Xavi López, left handed and autodidactic guitarist, one of the EGO members, with whom I shared loads of unrepeatable moments. In the Spanish final of the competition called Emergenza, he won the award for the best night’s guitarist. He then took part in Zermenyo, a band that is currently still on; he was a member of the “Hot Swingers Quintet” and he was in a funky-fusion project called “Acid-Brain” too. Moonday was Xavi’s other big life-long musical project, shared with Eric Rovira (drummer). It finally broke up in 2011. Xavi was also in charge of programming and steering the mythic jam sessions in the Casino in el Prat del Llobregat during four seasons (2010-2012). #1 Jordi Bastida – guitarres elèctriques

Va ser al 2007 que vaig tocar per primer cop amb el Jordi i desde llavors ens hem anat trobant allà on «La Porta dels Somnis» (grup que jo acompanyava als teclats) i «Lidia Guevara» (artista que llavors acompanyava i ara també produeix) compartien escenaris de concerts. Guardava un bon record d’aquella primera i única vegada i vaig proposar-li entrar a formar part del grup «Llúmia», el meu projecte més personal.  De seguida ens vàrem entendre i en l’actualitat ja compartim altres projectes com «Malas Lenguas» o la banda de Manel Fuentes.  Ell segueix de concerts i discos amb la Lidia Guevara i amb altres propostes interessants, com per exemple Trau. The first time I played with Jordi was in 2007. Since that day we’ve been seeing each other every time “La Porta dels Somnis” (where I used to play the keyboards) and “Lidia Guevara” (Jordi is her guitarist and actual producer) shared scenario. I have a very nice memory of that first time, so I asked him if he wanted to join “Llúmia”, my most personal project. We got along very well from the beginning. We now share projects like “Malas Lenguas” or Manuel Fuentes’s band. Nowadays he continues playing in Lidia Guevara’s concerts and producing her CD’s, as well as other interesting projects, such as Trau.
